There’s nothing more important at a church and school than complete security for the children. DTV Installations installed a complete closed-circuit television system with 22 cameras, three network digital recorders, monitors and smartphone monitoring capability in less than a week for one religious institution, providing full security and peace of mind throughout the complex for children, parents and staff.
You can’t be too careful these days, particularly when children are around. A client called DTV Installations after an incident at an area church, to inquire about installation of a complete closed-circuit TV system to cover the church, school and priest’s home located on the property. Of course, we were more than happy to be of assistance.
We began by installing 22 cameras throughout the building and grounds, ten at the school, six at the church and six at the priest’s home. We used a combination of Hickvision turret and bullet cameras, all of them 3-megapixel high-definition IP surveillance cameras with night vision capability. All outdoor cameras had their wiring run inside pipes to prevent vandalism or other issues, while the indoor camera wiring was all run in drop ceilings or in technical closets.
Each building was supplied with a dedicated Hickvision 16-channel, 8-port network video recorder with 2 TB of memory, allowing for a full month’s worth of storage of video from every camera on the property. The video feeds can also be watched in real-time on the monitors we installed, or on any computer, smartphone or tablet connected to the system.
This CCTV installation provides complete security for the school, church, home – and most importantly, all of the children on the property. The work took less than five working days to finish, and we were very pleased to be able to assist.
