There’s not much more that you can ask of a home theater than perfect 4K video and surround sound, other than having all components “invisible” except for the HDTV monitor. DTV Installations was able to accomplish both for a client in Dixie Hills, NY, with high-end equipment at a very reasonable price and all work completed in less than three days.
We had previously provided in-ceiling speaker wiring for a client in Dixie Hills, NY. When the client called us to complete the installation of his home theater and audio system, we already knew the landscape and were ready to go.
The theater was based around a 60-inch Samsung UN60JU6500 4K Ultra-HD television, which we supplied and hung on an outstanding Peerless full-motion wall bracket above the client’s fireplace.
We then connected it to a Denon AVR-X1100W 7.2 channel A/V receiver with built-in Bluetooth and WiFi, as well as the client’s cable box. No home theater would be complete without outstanding surround sound, so we used the existing in-ceiling wiring to connect six Polk Audio RT-70 3-way “vanishing” speakers which unobtrusively deliver high-quality sound. We added a powerful Polk Audio PSW110 powered subwoofer to complete the system.
An infrared extender allowed us to hide all of the equipment so only the HDTV is visible, and after completely calibrating the home theater for perfect video and audio, our work was done. The client was delighted with the installation, and with the fact that the entire installation took less than three days and cost well under $7000.
