DTV Installations carried out a project, installing a smart home theater system in the basement in Central Park of Manhattan, NY
The technical team was tasked with installing a Custom Home Theater system, connecting the necessary AV (audiovisual) equipment and running the required cabling.
The cables run within the house included two 50 feet 4K HDMI cables, fiber optic cables and speaker cables. They connected the television and audio system to AV equipment placed in a closet cabinet for space efficiency.
Before the television could be mounted, DTV installers had a contractor make an indentation inside the wall. Installing the TV in a recessed space saved space and added a touch of elegance to the room’s décor.
A Samsung un60hu9000 TV was then mounted on a peerless full motion mount. The mount will allow a wide range of adjustments of the television for optimum viewing.
For an immersive audio experience, DTV technicians installed in-wall 5.1 surround sound speakers with Definitive Technology. Audio source speaker amplifiers were also used to amplify the sound throughout the house to produce a loud party sensation.
Additionally, 3-Way Polk audio 90-RT loudspeakers were installed in some places to produce a deep quality sound.
It was extremely important that the picture and audio quality be the best possible. To achieve this, technicians used a Marantz AV Receiver. This will provide high quality sound output on the cable box and other equipment such as Apple TV and Samsung Blu-ray Player.
Speakers in the kitchen, living room and bedroom were connected to SONOS Connect amplifiers. This will allow the customer to stream digital music to these speakers from online music services including iTunes, Pandora, Spotify and hundreds of radio stations. SONOS Connect amps can work with a Smartphone, Tablet or PC.
The customer requested that we include a Logitech Harmony Touch Universal Remote Control. With this remote, the customer will be able to control the entire home theater system remotely.
In the end, the customer could take pride in a professionally installed home theater that is guaranteed to deliver audio and visual entertainment in high quality.
