DTV’s indoor/outdoor installation of high-speed internet, a home theater, whole-home audio and a second HDTV in an upscale Connecticut home created beautiful, modern living spaces with video and audio but without clutter
A homeowner in Darien, CT who needed major updates for his Wi-Fi, video and audio systems found DTV online through a Google search, and called us for a free estimate. Before our meeting was even over, he told us that he didn’t need to speak with any other companies – he wanted to work with us. We were happy to prepare a proposal and estimate which fit his budget, and got to work
First, we upgraded his Internet connectivity and speed by installing LUXUL XWS-2500 access points throughout the home; that allowed his family to have uninterrupted, high-speed access anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. We removed all old wires that weren’t sufficient for outdoor usage.
The next step was to give the client a quality home theater setup in his family room and audio throughout the house. As a direct dealers for all major A/V brands we supplied brand new KEF, Luxul, Samsung and SONOS.

The centerpiece is a wall-mounted Samsung UN60JU7100 60-inch 4K Ultra HD LED Smart TV – one of the finest HDTVs currently available. All cabling accessories were hidden ot of sight.

We then added a SONOS playbar and wireless subwoofer to provide high-quality audio to match the top-notch video of the Samsung HDTV.
High-end speaker systems were then installed throughout the rest of the home: KEF Q100 white bookshelf speakers in the living room, KEF CI200RR-THX in-ceiling speakers for the kitchen, plus waterproof KEF Ventura 4 speakers for outdoor listening. All are powered by separate SONOS audio amplifiers.
Finally, the client wanted to be sure he wouldn’t miss the news each morning while having coffee, so we installed another wall-hung high-definition television in the dining room.
All of the wiring was run in-wall and the audio and Internet equipment are all hidden from sight, so the client has a beautiful, modern living space without wires or amplifiers cluttering things up.
